Former Black Star captain Asamoah Gyan has been unveiled as ambassador for Ghana’s national teams and colts football in a move aimed at strengthening the country’s football development structure. Gyan, Ghana’s all-time leading scorer and one of Africa’s most celebrated footballers, remains an influential figure in Ghanaian sport years after his retirement from international football.
