The Association of Business Administration Students welcomes freshers at departmental orientation

The Association of Business Administration Students at the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) held it orientation program on February 3, 2026, this move, is to welcome newly admitted Level 100 students and introduce them to the faculty’s academic expectations and student life. Speaking at the orientation programme, the Dean of Students, Professor Philomena Dadzie, congratulated newly admitted students on securing their place at the university and extended a warm welcome, saying, “Congratulations on securing your university place, and a very warm welcome to UPSA. Thank you, most of all, for choosing UPSA among all the institutions of higher learning in Ghana.” She praised the students for their choice, assuring them that their time at UPSA would be a rewarding experience. She added that, “You have made an excellent decision, and we assure you that your journey at UPSA will be a rewarding one. Your confidence in our University is deeply appreciated and never taken for granted.” However, Professor Philomena Dadzie reminded the students that, success in university requires dedication and the right mindset, emphasizing that , “Remember that education is a journey, not a destination. With hard work, perseverance, and a growth mindset, you can achieve anything you set your mind to.” The orientation forms part of the university’s annual activities aimed at familiarising new students with academic life and campus culture at UPSA.
