Behind the polished shoes and well-fitted outfits are tired students: those who stayed up late on assignments, preparing for presentations, or side hustling. Some deal with financial stress or personal challenges, yet on campus, there is little room to show it. At UPSA, this pressure is often silent. This goes beyond the dress code, appearing in classrooms where students feel the need to speak confidently and perform consistently. In this unspoken competition to appear capable, it is easy to feel like everyone else is coping better. Academically, the expectations are just as demanding.
