UPSA graduates over 1,300 students at first session of 18th Congregation
The University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) has graduated more than 1,300 students at the first session of its 18th Congregation held on Friday, September 25, 2026, at the Kofi Ohene-Konadu Auditorium.
The ceremony brought together graduands from the School of Graduate Studies and the UPSA Law School, who received qualifications including MPhil, MBA, MSc, MA and LLB degrees.
Chief Executive Officer of Universal Merchant Bank, Dr Philip Oti-Mensah, serving as the Congregation Speaker addressed the graduating class as they prepared for the next phase of their journeys.
Delivering the valedictory address, Klenam Tsikata urged graduates to see their degrees as the beginning of their responsibility to society.
“We were tired, but we were determined. We were stretched, but we were not broken,” she said, reflecting on the challenges of their academic journey.
The first session is part of five congregation sessions scheduled by UPSA for 2026.
