UPSA@60 strengthens ties with CIMA-Ghana ahead of IPS relaunch

The UPSA@60 Anniversary Planning Committee has paid a courtesy call on the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA)-Ghana as part of stakeholder engagements leading up to the University's diamond jubilee celebrations. Led by Committee Chairman, Mr. Kwabena Agyekum, the delegation formally briefed CIMA leadership on key anniversary activities, including a high-level business conclave with the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, and captains of industry, as well as the official relaunch of the Institute of Professional Studies (IPS). The relaunch represents a significant milestone in reconnecting the University with its historic roots in professional education. Vice Chairman, Mr. Francis Dadzie, underscored the longstanding relationship between UPSA and CIMA, noting that many members of the Institute received their professional training at the former Institute of Professional Studies. He emphasised the importance of CIMA's presence at the relaunch to honour this shared heritage.
